Sneak Peek Rowing Opportunities for New Students

Throughout the year High Point Rowing Club will host Sneak Peek opportunities for new students to try out rowing for just $10. Please register in advance of your Sneak Peek session to let the coaches know you are coming in advance. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

Rowing is one of the oldest sports in the world with some of the strongest traditions. High Point is proud to have one of the fastest boys rowing squads in North Carolina.

The following Sneak Peek Weeks have been scheduled for the remainder of 2016.

END OF SUMMER SNEAK PEEK
6:00-7:30pm

Tuesday August 9, Wednesday, and Thursday

 

FALL SNEAK PEEK
Middle Schoolers: 4:15pm – 6pm, Monday August 29th, Thursday, and Saturday the same week.
High Schoolers: 4:15pm – 6pm, Monday, August 29th to Saturday, September 3rd (all days, weather permitting).

 

END OF FALL SNEAK PEEK
Saturday, October 29 & Sunday 30th at 2pm.

 

WHERE? Oak Hollow Lake. Use 3700 Waterview Road, High Point as your GPS guide. This will bring you to the park entrance. When you enter the park, our boats are located to the right end of the parking lot.

COST? Just $10! Bring a check or cash to your first practice.

Be sure to have a parent sign the waiver and swim form certifying that you can swim. These can be downloaded on the Registration page. Bring these forms with you and your $10 payment.

Also bring the following:
• flip flops (we walk the boats into the water)
• water bottle
• dress in close-fitting shorts/t-shirt (Loose clothes get caught in the sliding seat of the boat).
