Many of our youth rowers at High Point Rowing Club have aspirations of rowing in college. In fact quite a few have already graduated and gone on to do just that at universities such as UNC Chapel Hill, Louisville, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and Clemson – just to name a few.
So, what is rowing like in college? Actually, this is hard to say because the experience is so different for each rower from one collegiate program to the next. Like life, it is what you make of it.
